Casino Planet review

Casino Planet is closed. It was run by Genesis Global Limited, a Maltese company licensed by the Gambling Commission under account 45235, and it shut its British site on 6 December 2022, with withdrawals open until 30 December 2022. The company then went into insolvency in Malta. There is no Casino Planet casino for a UK player to join today, and casinoplanet.com now carries a casino guide and free games site with no cashier.

It scores 2.1 out of 10. That score is for the brand as it stands now: no licence, no casino and no one to complain to. The old site was a mainstream, licensed casino with standard terms, but the operator behind it was fined £3.8 million first.

Facts on this page are as of 19 October 2026.

Casino Planet at a glance

Licence and ownership: 2.0

Casino Planet's terms, version 1.8 dated 13 July 2022, named Genesis Global Limited as operator. The company was incorporated in Malta under C65325 at GB Buildings, Watar Street, Ta' Xbiex, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under MGA/B2C/314/2015 and by the Gambling Commission under account 45235.

That account no longer exists on the public register: the entry for 45235 returns No register entry found. The last published domain list for the account, from February 2024, showed casinoplanet.com and all 19 other Genesis domains as inactive.

The regulatory record is the reason the brand matters. The Gambling Commission suspended Genesis Global's licence in July 2020 and lifted the suspension on 14 October 2020. On 27 January 2022 it fined the company £3.8 million, issued a warning and added a licence condition requiring further auditing, for social responsibility and money laundering failures. The Commission's statement named casinoplanet.com among the 14 sites the company ran. Its examples included a customer who lost £234,000 in six weeks with no meaningful responsible gambling interaction, and one allowed to deposit more than £1,300,000 and lose £600,000 before proper source of funds checks.

Genesis closed its 14 British sites on 6 December 2022. Malta's insolvency register shows winding up by the Civil Court opened on 14 December 2022, with the Official Receiver acting as liquidator and the company In Dissolution. Our guide to checking a UK casino licence shows how to confirm a site's status yourself.

Is Casino Planet open to UK players?

No. The licensed casino closed to new British registrations on 6 December 2022. In January 2023 the domain showed only a maintenance notice. By April 2024 it carried a promotional site whose terms named a different company, Rabidi N.V., and mentioned no licence. On 19 October 2026 casinoplanet.com showed a casino guide and football scores site with editions for Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Denmark, Austria and the United States, and no United Kingdom edition.

Several other sites present themselves as the official Casino Planet and claim it is UK-licensed. None of them is the original casino, and none appears on the Gambling Commission register.

Bonus terms: 2.0

There is no offer to claim. The last UK welcome offer, published in December 2022, was:

• 100% up to £100 plus 50 free spins on Starburst on the first deposit.
• £10 minimum deposit, with e-wallets such as Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe and PayPal excluded.
• 40x wagering on the bonus, with 14 days to complete it.
• £5 maximum bet while wagering.
• Free spin winnings capped at £100, spins valid for 72 hours.
• Bonus winnings capped at £2,000 once wagering was done.

Those were ordinary terms for a UK casino of the time. Today the score reflects that nothing is available. Our wagering requirements guide explains what 40x meant in practice, and our casino offers page lists offers you can still claim.

Deposits and withdrawals: 2.0

The UK payments page, as published in December 2022, listed debit cards, Apple Pay, Maestro, Boku, paysafecard, Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, Trustly and PayPal. Deposits started at £10, with a £5,000 maximum on most methods, £30 on Boku and £200 on paysafecard. Deposits were free and instant.

The July 2022 terms gave withdrawal times of 1 to 3 working days for debit cards, 3 to 5 working days for bank transfers, and instant payment for e-wallets and online bank transfers. An account unused for 12 months was charged £5 a month.

None of this works now. The withdrawal window closed on 30 December 2022. A balance left after that date is a claim against a company in liquidation in Malta, handled by the Official Receiver. Small balances are unlikely to come back. If you need a site that pays quickly, our fast withdrawal casinos guide covers licensed options.

Games and software: 3.0

The December 2022 site said it offered more than 2,000 real money games: slots, live casino and table games. Its homepage named Yggdrasil, Oryx Gaming, Evolution, Microgaming, NetEnt and Play'n GO among the studios, and the bonus terms barred bonus play on Push Gaming and Real Dealer Studios games. The library was broad. It is gone, and the score reflects only what the site used to be.

Support and complaints: 1.5

UK players were told to send complaints to [email protected], with a reply promised within 10 working days and disputes going to IBAS, the independent adjudicator. That route ended with the casino. There is no working support for the old Casino Planet, and the new owners of the domain have no link to Genesis Global.

Safer gambling tools: 2.0

The licensed site offered deposit, stake, loss and session limits, time-outs, self-exclusion from six months, and GAMSTOP blocking. A GAMSTOP registration still protects you from any UK-licensed casino. It does not cover sites trading on the Casino Planet name from outside Britain.

Overall score

The overall score is the average of the six areas. It rates the brand for a UK player today, using Casino Planet's own terms and offer pages from 2022, the Gambling Commission's register and statements, and Malta's insolvency register.

Casino Planet sister sites

The Gambling Commission register listed 20 domains on account 45235. The 14 casinos trading in Britain until 6 December 2022 were Casino Planet, Casoola, Kassu, Casino Cruise, Casino Gods, Casino Joy, Casino Lab, Casino Masters, Genesis Casino, Pelaa, Sloty, Spela, Spinit and Vegas Hero. All closed to UK players on the same day, and every domain on the account is marked inactive.

Who Casino Planet suits

Nobody, today. If you held an account, keep your old emails and statements as evidence for any claim to the liquidator. If you want a casino like the old Casino Planet, choose one that appears as active on the Gambling Commission register.

Casino Planet alternatives that take UK sign-ups

Casino Planet's last UK offer asked for 40x wagering on the bonus from a £10 deposit, while JetSetSpins and NeonStake set 20x the bonus on their first-deposit offers, from £30 and £20. Both accept UK sign-ups, but neither is licensed in Great Britain, neither names a company in its terms and both pay out only in cryptocurrency.

JetSetSpins gives a choice on the first deposit: 200% up to £10,000 plus 100 free spins from £30, with 20x wagering on the bonus only and seven days to clear it, or 250 free spins with no wagering at all. Either way the deposit also unlocks the Royal Wheel, one free spin a day for seven days.

NeonStake matches the 200% up to £10,000 plus 100 free spins from a lower £20 deposit, at the same 20x on the bonus, or 200 wager-free spins from £50. It also pays 10% of the previous day's slot losses back every day as cash, with no wagering.

Both are sister sites on one platform, with casino, live casino and sportsbook on a single account. They pay out in crypto only, £100 to £500 per request. Neither names the company behind it, and neither holds a licence we could verify on any regulator's register, so GAMSTOP and the UK complaints route do not cover them. If you have self-excluded, they are not for you. Both offers and their full terms are side by side on our casino offers page.
