Jackpotjoy is one of the UK's best-known bingo sites, run by Gamesys Operations Limited from Gibraltar. Gamesys has held Gambling Commission licences since 1 November 2014, and runs Double Bubble Bingo, Bally Casino, Virgin Games and MONOPOLY Casino on the same account.

It does the basics well: a welcome offer with no wagering on the spins, published withdrawal times for each payment method, and a complaints process that sets out every step. Its licence score is lower than our other reviews because of a £6.07 million fine in 2023.

Every Jackpotjoy page names Gamesys Operations Limited, its Gibraltar address and Gambling Commission account 38905. The company is also licensed in Gibraltar.

On 22 November 2023 the Gambling Commission fined Gamesys Operations Limited £6,071,292, issued a formal warning and added a condition to its licence, after finding failures in anti-money laundering checks and customer interaction between November 2021 and July 2022. The Commission noted that the company co-operated and made changes. It is the only action on the account, but it is recent enough that we score this area lower than for operators with a clean record.

The rules say the free spins have no wagering. You have 30 days from your first deposit to meet the conditions, and then 30 days to use the spins or tickets.

You can set deposit limits and net deposit limits (deposits minus withdrawals) by the day, week or month. Session reminders are switched on by default at one hour, and you can shorten them to 30 minutes. Self-exclusion is available for longer breaks.
