BetGoodwin sister sites

BetGoodwin has no sister casino. Its Gambling Commission account, 2927, lists two websites, and the second one, goodwinracing.co.uk, is the same company's telephone betting service, not a separate casino brand.

What BetGoodwin does have is relatives. BetTOM and BetAhoy are run from neighbouring units on the same Uckfield business park, by companies controlled by members of the same family. Each of them holds its own licence, so for a player they behave like three unrelated bookmakers. Below: what is on BetGoodwin's licence, who owns it, how the relatives connect, and what that means if you hold more than one account.

What sits on account 2927

The register lists two active domain names and two trading names under Goodwin Racing Limited, and nothing marked inactive or white label.

Goodwin Racing is the original business. Its own site says it started in a retail unit in Uckfield in 1997 and launched BetGoodwin online in February 2022. The telephone service offers sports betting only: a £20 matched free bet for new customers, Best Odds Guaranteed on racing and the usual bookmaker concessions. It has no casino, so a casino player gains nothing by opening a second account there.

The licence history explains the shape of the business. Goodwin Racing held a non-remote betting licence, the kind a high street betting shop needs, from 1 January 2009 until it was surrendered on 27 May 2026. The remote betting licence followed in February 2018, and casino and bingo were added in September 2023. The BetGoodwin footer also names a sportsbook registration in Ireland, GRAI-0678-RB-26-0001, with the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland.

Who owns BetGoodwin

BetGoodwin's footer names Goodwin Racing Limited, company number 03477145, at 4 Kingfisher Court, Uckfield, under Gambling Commission account 2927. Every detail matches the register and Companies House.

The company was incorporated on 5 December 1997 as Concession Bookmakers (1997) Ltd and took the Goodwin Racing name in June 1999. Companies House records one person with significant control: Choicebet (UK) Limited, company 08543948, which holds 75% or more of the shares and voting rights. Choicebet (UK) is in turn controlled by Julian George Norman Head, who holds 75% or more of it.

Julian Head has been a director of Goodwin Racing since August 2015 and Benjamin Head since September 2017. Julian Head is also quoted as BetGoodwin's chief executive in an October 2025 announcement from EveryMatrix, the company that supplies its platform.

A new company called BetGoodwin Limited (17462454) was incorporated at the same address on 16 September 2026, with Julian and Benjamin Head as directors. It is registered as a holding company and does not appear on the Gambling Commission register, so it is not the company you contract with when you play. Your agreement is still with Goodwin Racing Limited, as the BetGoodwin terms state.

The Kingfisher Court relatives

Three licensed bookmakers give an address at Kingfisher Court, on the Bellbrook Industrial Park in Uckfield.

The links come from Companies House:

• Bet Tom Ltd (15228173) was incorporated on 23 October 2023. Susan Claire Head controls it with more than 50% of the shares and is a director alongside Paul Adam Colley. Benjamin Head was a founding director and held between 25% and 50% until he stepped down on 20 May 2024. Susan Head was also a director of Choicebet (UK), BetGoodwin's parent, from 2013 to 2015.
• Bet Ahoy Ltd (16650332) was incorporated on 14 August 2025. Julian Head is its person with significant control, with more than 50% of the shares. Its directors are Alan Edward Bridle and Samuel Carrington.

So the three businesses share a family, a street and, in BetTOM's case, a platform supplier: EveryMatrix names BetTOM among the UK operators already on its platform. They do not share a licence. BetTOM and BetAhoy each have one domain on their own account, and none of the three accounts carries a regulatory action.

That makes BetTOM and BetAhoy relatives rather than sister sites. A sister site, in the sense that matters to a player, sits on the same licence: same company holding your money, same complaints process, same verification. Here you get three separate companies.

How the three welcome offers compare

All three run a sportsbook and a casino, and their casino offers are close. These are the terms each site showed on 5 October 2026. 18+, new customers only, full terms apply.

BetGoodwin's casino offer and BetAhoy's are almost the same deal: £10 of spins, with winnings wagered five times and capped at £50. BetGoodwin's own terms are inconsistent on one point. The overview says the 5x wagering must be done on Big Bass Splash only, while the free spin terms lower down say slots only. Ask support which applies before you play through the winnings.

BetGoodwin's platform

BetGoodwin launched online on FSB Technology's platform. EveryMatrix signed a multi-year deal with it in October 2024 covering casino and player management, and the full sportsbook moved to EveryMatrix in October 2025. The casino lobby is slot-heavy, with Slingo, scratchcards, crash games and Plinko titles alongside studios such as Red Tiger, Nolimit City, Big Time Gaming and ELK Studios. Table games and live dealer games sit in separate sections.

Goodwin Racing's about page dates the BetGoodwin launch to February 2022; EveryMatrix's case study says January 2022.

What this means if you play at more than one

• Accounts are separate. BetGoodwin, BetTOM and BetAhoy each need their own registration, identity checks and deposit limits. BetGoodwin's terms allow one account per customer.
• Self-exclusion does not carry across automatically. A self-exclusion set inside BetGoodwin covers BetGoodwin. GAMSTOP covers all three, and every other online gambling business licensed in Great Britain, in one step.
• Complaints go to the company you played with. BetGoodwin acknowledges a complaint within 24 hours and aims to answer within 7 days. If it is not settled within 8 weeks, you can take it to IBAS, the Independent Betting Adjudication Service.
• Your balance is not protected if the company fails. BetGoodwin's terms say customer money is kept in a separate bank account but is "not protected in the event of insolvency". That is the lowest level on the Gambling Commission's customer funds scale. Withdraw what you do not need.
• Deposits and withdrawals start at £10. Withdrawals below £10 are allowed only through Trustly. Credit cards cannot be used, as at every gambling site licensed in Great Britain.
