MyStake and Stake share four letters and nothing else. They are run by different Curaçao companies, and neither is open to a player in Great Britain. If you are outside the UK, Stake is the stronger site: rakeback instead of a heavily wagered bonus, a full set of self-service safer gambling limits and no maximum withdrawal. MyStake only makes sense for someone who wants a matched deposit bonus and accepts 30x wagering on deposit plus bonus.
The Stake brand did once trade legally here. Stake.uk.com ran under another company's Gambling Commission licence until March 2025. That site is closed, and nothing called Stake is licensed in Great Britain today.
Facts on this page are as of 20 October 2026.

Who runs them, and the licence
MyStake names GTW B.V. in its terms and footer: a Curaçao company, number 165433, licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under OGL/2024/250/0115. A Cyprus company, CYGTW LTD (HE 462903), acts as its payment agent. The Authority's certificate for mystake.com names the same company and number and shows the licence as Active, granted on 1 July 2024. Its register of 14 October 2026 is less tidy: GTW's licence term is shown as ending 24 December 2025, with the status "Assessment in progress". Before 2026 MyStake was run by Santeda International B.V., and our MyStake sister sites page covers that history. Its one same-company sibling now is Donbet.
Stake.com is owned and operated by Medium Rare N.V., registration number 145353, with its head office at Seru Loraweg 17 B, Curaçao. Its licence is OGL/2024/1451/0918, also from the Curaçao Gaming Authority. Payments can run through two Cyprus subsidiaries, Medium Rare Limited and MRS Tech Ltd. The same register of 14 October 2026 lists Medium Rare's term as ending 9 June 2026, and it carries the same "Assessment in progress" status as GTW.
There is no corporate link between the two. Different companies, different licence numbers, different payment agents. MyStake is not a Stake mirror. Stake's help centre lists its only official mirrors as playstake.club, playstake.info, playstake.io and playstake.casino.
The UK chapter belongs to Stake alone. Stake.uk.com was a white-label site run by TGP Europe Limited under that company's Gambling Commission licence. On 12 February 2025 the Commission announced that TGP would stop taking new Stake registrations and shut the British site by 11 March 2025. That followed a Commission investigation into a widely shared video carrying the Stake logo. In May 2025 TGP surrendered its licence after being told to pay a £3.3 million penalty for due diligence and anti-money laundering failures. TGP's register entry shows every licence as Surrendered on 15 May 2025 and stake.uk.com as an inactive domain. Neither GTW nor Medium Rare holds a Commission account, trading name or domain.
Winner: neither (both rely on a Curaçao licence that the register shows as still under assessment, and neither holds a British licence)
Welcome offer and wagering
MyStake's casino package is a matched bonus spread over three deposits: 150% up to €750, then 100% up to €500, then 50% up to €250. The minimum deposit is €20, the bonus is for slots only, bets are capped at €5 a spin, and you have 30 days. The wagering is 30 times the deposit plus the bonus.
Work it through. Deposit €100 and the first tier adds €150. You must then bet 30 times €250, which is €7,500, before anything can be withdrawn. Collecting the full €1,500 takes three deposits of €500, which leaves €3,000 of deposit and bonus to wager 30 times: €90,000 of bets in 30 days at no more than €5 a spin. Our wagering requirements guide explains why a deposit-plus-bonus rule costs about twice what the headline multiple suggests. Winnings from any MyStake free spins or free bets are capped at €100.
Stake does not run a matched welcome bonus of its own. Its welcome offer is rakeback, unlocked by entering an affiliate code within 24 hours of opening an account: 3.5% of the house edge back on every bet. Stake's own example is 1 BTC wagered on a 2% edge game returning 0.0007 BTC. That is small, but it pays win or lose and carries no wagering. Some affiliate codes add a deposit bonus, and that comes with a deposit bonus requirement. Stake's worked example: a $100 deposit with a $100 bonus at 30x means $6,000 of bets before a withdrawal.
Winner: Stake (its rakeback has no wagering, where MyStake's first tier needs €7,500 of bets on a €100 deposit)
Games and betting
Both are casino and sportsbook in one account. MyStake's offers cover slots, live casino, mini games, sports and esports. Stake's site lists slots, live casino, roulette, blackjack, poker, a sportsbook with live betting and esports, and its own racing rules. Neither publishes a total game count.
Winner: Stake (it adds a poker room and racing to the same casino and sportsbook mix)
Payments and withdrawals
This is the biggest practical gap.
MyStake caps withdrawals at €7,500 a week and €15,000 a month. A win above €15,000 can be paid in monthly instalments, and no single bet or spin pays more than €100,000, jackpots aside. Bank and crypto payouts are processed within three banking days. Every deposit must be bet through once: if you withdraw before that, the terms allow MyStake to deduct 20%. Accounts left for 12 months are charged €10 a month.
Stake states plainly that there is no maximum withdrawal: you can take out whatever is in the account. The minimum depends on the coin and a network fee applies. Every deposit has to be wagered 100% before a withdrawal, the same once-through rule without the 20% penalty. Stake does not publish a payout time, and says larger amounts may be held for manual processing. Card deposits exist only for selected local currencies and countries. For a short list of faster payers, see our fast withdrawal casinos guide.
Winner: Stake (no withdrawal cap against MyStake's €7,500 a week)
Safer gambling and complaints
Stake's tools are self-service in the account. You can set daily deposit limits, and daily, weekly or monthly loss and wager limits; increases wait 24 hours. A break in play runs from 24 hours to one month. Product exclusion blocks casino or sportsbook alone for 24 hours to indefinitely. Full self-exclusion is indefinite with a six-month minimum before any return-to-play review.
MyStake offers less. A time-out means asking support to close the account, and it can be reopened early on written request at the casino's discretion. Self-exclusion is by email, for six months to five years. The terms describe no deposit limit tool.
Complaints are weak at both. MyStake gives you two months to complain to its compliance address, then points only to "any independent body, gaming authority or the licensing regulator". Stake's terms send complaints to [email protected], after which disputes go to the courts of Curaçao. Neither names an independent adjudicator, and GAMSTOP covers neither. Our guide on how to check a UK casino licence shows what a British licence would add.
Winner: Stake (deposit, loss and wager limits you set yourself, where MyStake relies on emailing support)
Which should you choose?
From the UK, neither. Stake's terms name the United Kingdom as a Prohibited Jurisdiction and treat any attempt to disguise your location, VPN use included, as a breach of the agreement. MyStake shows UK visitors a 404 page in place of its lobby. If you want a licensed site, use one that appears on the Gambling Commission register.
Outside the UK, pick Stake if you play with crypto, bet in volume or want to withdraw large sums: no cap, rakeback without wagering and proper limit tools. Pick MyStake only if you want a matched bonus, pay in euros or pounds by card, and accept 30x deposit plus bonus with €7,500 a week as the most you can take out.
MyStake and Stake alternatives that take UK sign-ups
MyStake wagers its welcome bonus 30 times the deposit plus the bonus, and Stake does not accept UK players at all. JetSetSpins and NeonStake wager their first-deposit bonuses 20 times the bonus only, and neither lists the United Kingdom among its restricted countries. Neither holds a licence we could verify on any regulator's register, so GAMSTOP does not cover them either.
JetSetSpins gives a choice on the first deposit: 200% up to £10,000 plus 100 free spins from £30, with 20x wagering on the bonus only and seven days to clear it, or 250 free spins with no wagering at all. Either way the deposit also unlocks the Royal Wheel, one free spin a day for seven days.
NeonStake matches the 200% up to £10,000 plus 100 free spins from a lower £20 deposit, at the same 20x on the bonus, or 200 wager-free spins from £50. It also pays 10% of the previous day's slot losses back every day as cash, with no wagering.
Both are sister sites on one platform, with casino, live casino and sportsbook on a single account. They pay out in crypto only, £100 to £500 per request. Neither names the company behind it, and neither holds a licence we could verify on any regulator's register, so GAMSTOP and the UK complaints route do not cover them. If you have self-excluded, they are not for you. Both offers and their full terms are side by side on our casino offers page.

Frequently asked questions
Is MyStake the same company as Stake?
No. MyStake is run by GTW B.V. under Curaçao licence OGL/2024/250/0115. Stake.com is run by Medium Rare N.V. under OGL/2024/1451/0918. They share no operator, licence or payment agent, and MyStake is not one of Stake's official mirror sites.
Can I use one account on both?
No. They are separate companies on separate platforms, so a balance, bonus or VIP level on one means nothing on the other. Each needs its own registration and its own identity checks.
Is Stake available in the UK?
Not any more. Stake.uk.com ran under TGP Europe's Gambling Commission licence until March 2025, and TGP surrendered that licence on 15 May 2025. Stake.com's terms list the United Kingdom as a Prohibited Jurisdiction.
Is MyStake available in the UK?
No. MyStake has never held a Gambling Commission licence, and on 20 October 2026 it showed UK visitors a 404 page with no lobby. Its terms do not name the UK as restricted, but that gives a British player no protection.
Which pays out faster?
MyStake publishes a time: bank and crypto payouts are processed within three banking days, up to €7,500 a week. Stake publishes no payout time but sets no maximum withdrawal, and says large amounts may be checked by hand first.
Which has the better welcome bonus?
On paper MyStake, with 300% up to €1,500. In practice Stake, because its 3.5% rakeback carries no wagering, while MyStake's bonus must be bet 30 times the deposit plus the bonus within 30 days.
