Spin Genie review

Spin Genie is a slots-focused casino run by Skill On Net Limited, the same company behind PlayOJO. It shares PlayOJO's licence, platform and payment options, but not its no-wagering policy: Spin Genie's bonuses use the more common 10 times wagering.

It has a very large game library and good payment options. It scores lower than PlayOJO on bonus terms, because the welcome offer is described differently on different pages, and on support, because live chat closes overnight.

Licence and ownership: 8.5

Spin Genie runs on Skill On Net's Gambling Commission account 39326, which lists spingenie.co.uk and spingenie.com as active domains. The account has held a casino licence since 1 November 2014 and has no regulatory action on the register.

This is the same licence and the same score as PlayOJO.

Bonus terms: 6.5

The terms on the welcome offer are clear: free spins on Book of Dead worth 10p each, credited automatically on a first deposit of at least £10. Winnings from the spins must be wagered 10 times, only slots count, and the maximum bet is 10% of the spin winnings or £5, whichever is lower.

The problem is the number of spins. On 29 September 2026 the homepage text said 120, while campaign banners on the same site offered 100 spins on Buffalo Blitz III and 130 on Big Bass Splash. The figure you get is the one shown where you sign up, so check it there.

The general bonus policy has stricter terms for some offers. Unless stated otherwise:

• deposit bonuses need a £20 minimum deposit
• free spins, free bets and similar offers are valid for 24 hours
• no-deposit bonuses must be wagered within 24 hours, and winnings from them are capped at £100 or twice the bonus, whichever is higher
• withdrawing while a bonus is active cancels the bonus and any winnings from it

None of this breaks the rules, but it is a long way from PlayOJO's no-wagering policy on the same platform.

Deposits and withdrawals: 7.5

Spin Genie accepts PayPal, Trustly, Visa and Mastercard debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The payments page says Trustly gives "quick withdrawals" and that Apple Pay can be used to withdraw. Credit cards are not accepted, in line with UK rules.

The site does not publish withdrawal times. Minimum and maximum amounts are shown in the cashier rather than on a public page, so you cannot compare them before signing up. Like PlayOJO, the terms allow a £5 monthly fee on accounts with no activity for 12 months.

Games and software: 8.5

Spin Genie gives two figures for its library: "over 7,000 games" on its main pages and "more than 4,000" on its about page. Either way, it is one of the larger libraries in the UK, with slots, table games, live casino, Slingo, bingo and instant win games.

Spin Genie also runs exclusive early releases, such as Buffalo Blitz III in September 2026. There are apps on the App Store and Google Play, and the site says every game works on mobile and desktop.

Support and complaints: 7.0

Live chat is open every day from 6am until midnight, and you can email [email protected]. There is no 24-hour chat and no phone line, which puts it behind casinos that answer around the clock.

Complaints go to Spin Genie first. If you are still unhappy and the issue concerns a gambling transaction, you can take it to eCOGRA, the approved independent dispute service, free of charge.

Safer gambling tools: 8.5

You can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits from My Account, and switch on reality checks (called Game Status Reminders) at an interval you choose. A freeze or cooling-off period lasts 24 hours or 1 to 6 weeks, and self-exclusion covers longer breaks. Once you self-exclude, you cannot ask to reopen the account for 180 days.

It is the same set of tools as PlayOJO, without Safe Mate.
